Morbus Basedowii.

Markedly protracted meandering case, complicated by urinary sugar.

27 year old working woman. Both parents died from tuberculosis, brother died from diabetes mellitus at the the age of 8.

Collapsed in a cellar at the 13th year of life. From then on, great psychological nervousness, onset of violent heart palpitations in brief spells, soon thereafter the start of tumescence in the thyroids and the egression of the eyeball. The illness, therefore, is most probably a consequence of the indicated accident.

Worth noting, the extraordinary swelling of the eyeball, the medium sized (consisitent with the usual look of this disease) swelling of the thyroids. Heart not enlarged, valves normal.
